THE PARETO PRINCIPLE

Have you heard of this?  The general idea is that 80% of our results will come from 20% of our efforts.  Put in a music student’s terms – 80% of your progress comes from 20% of the time you spend practicing.  Spending extra time on trouble spots or new technical difficulties will speed up your learning process and cut down on practice time! – and doesn’t everyone want to be able to spend more time enjoying Making Music as opposed to the “work” of practicing!
